Cardinal Nation

Every year, my family always went to at least one Cardinals game and this summer was no exception but with the recent InBev buyout of AB I wonder if Busch Stadium will be affected. In some ways I am a bit caught up in the buyout as it means changes are in store. I can remember going to Grant’s Farm on a few field and family trips, getting a glimpse of the AB Clydesdales, and being amazed at their size and grooming standards. When we’d go to the stadium years ago, my dad would always have KMOX on so we could listen to Jack Buck’s pre and post game commentary as well as his calling the game (if we left early). When the old Busch Stadium got torn down, it was weird to be in a “new” stadium. It seems that most have adjusted to the new design and layout of it, but I have to say that InBev Stadium just doesn’t have the same ring to it. A lot can happen in two years, but hopefully Busch Stadium will remain the same.
