Renewed Vision

Since making a decision to return to the states, the ebb and flow of my emotions fluctuates from day to day. As I’ve spent the last year really struggling to regain balance in my life and establish working boundaries, I often found my vision clouded. With the weight off of my shoulders, I find that when I walk down the street I can once again see the beauty of the bustle around me, and I find myself sad. Sad because it took so long for me to see life here this way again. Sad because I sometimes feel I squandered many months here. Sad because I have three months left in the midst of it.

Here are some sights from the neighborhood.
Picking up some bread on the way home
Getting ready for a KFC delivery
Street food vendors: popcorn and haw berries
