Two nights ago, I said goodbye to a group of student teachers who had just finished a three-week cross cultural exchange program. I was treated to dinner at The Jungle for my role as a cooperating teacher. Having never been, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was quite an eclectic atmosphere:
--koi fish
--fake elephant statues
--a grand piano on an 'island' stage
--palm trees
--seals
Yes, seals.
